New Directive for Michigan Charity Poker

The State of Michigan Charitable Gamintg Division has issued a new directive for the Michigan Charity Poker Rooms to abide by. You can read the new rule set here

The big area of notice is the prohibitions area…

PROHIBITIONS
72.
A player may not receive anything of value other than a prize awarded for the placement
of finish in Tournament Texas Hold’em.
73.
No alternative prize or anything of value (e.g., entry to a Free Roll, High Hand, Bounty,
Player Points, etc.) may be awarded or given to a player.
74.
There shall be no carryover of prizes from one licensed gaming event to another licensed gaming event.
75.
There shall be no combining of prizes between licensed gaming events.

This in event will change the way some room run their poker tournaments.
